President/CEO
The President/CEO works within the agency’s team model, establishing open communication support and accountability among staff and volunteers. They will be responsible for the overall management and development of a multi-service agency providing high quality health, human services, educational support services, youth development and housing support assistance to families, children, and adults in need.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assures adherence to agency mission, philosophy, and purpose
- Provides direct support, training and supervision to senior administrative staff
- Ultimately responsible for the overall management and support of all agency staff
- Hires, terminates, promotes, evaluates, and disciplines staff as needed
- Responds to issues presented by staff and funding sources as needed
- Conducts long-range planning of agency goals and objectives along with the Board of Directors and other appropriate parties
- Develops accountability systems along with the Vice-President/Associate Executive Director and Vice-President of Administration, Finance & Con- tracts
- Committed to maintaining fiscal integrity of the agency
- Monitor quality of programs and services through site visits, documentation, and work with the Vice-Presidents of the agency
- Oversees and facilitates the development of new programs and services along with administrative staff and Board of Directors
Additional Responsibilities:
- Works to develop collaborative relationships with other service providers as needed and appropriate
- Actively participates in efforts to enhance community development and community problem solving
- Creates and maintains effective working relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, policymakers and stakeholders
- Works in conjunction with the Board of Directors
- Acts as agency liaison for interagency meetings and planning efforts
- Serves on relevant local, regional, and statewide boards, task forces and special committees

- Requires a BA degree
